Profit Warning For Financial Year Ended 30 June 2009

The Board of Directors of HLN Technologies Limited (the "Company") wishes to issue a profit warning with regard to the financial results of the Company and its subsidiaries (the "Group") for the financial year ended 30 June 2009.

The Group's half year results would be significantly affected by impairment loss for its metallic division which comprises HLN Technologies Sdn Bhd ("TSB") and HLN Metal Centre Pte Ltd ("HMC"). The impairment loss in TSB arose from deteriorating performance due to weak market demand whilst the impairment loss in HMC was mainly due to significant write down to its aluminium inventory amidst sharp decline in metal prices.

In view of the foregoing, although the Company is still in the process of finalizing its financial results, it expects to report a significant loss for the financial year ended 30 June 2009. Despite expecting a loss, the Group remains financially healthy with strong cash balance and low bank borrowings as at 30 June 2009. Further details of the Group's performance will be disclosed when it announces its half year financial results.
